Swine Projects!!

Ok, guys, this is one of the most popular projects in 4-H. Of course, a BIG part of this project is raising and showing a pig a the fair but there is so much more you could do. Here are just a few ideas!
Make a poster! There are so many options but really it should be what interests you the most or what you what to learn about. If it's your first or second year in the swine project maybe you could make a poster to show the parts of a pig and cuts of meat, different breeds or your favorite pork recipes and food safety. If you have been in the project awhile maybe tackling a tougher subject like reproduction or biosecurity.
If posters aren't your style how about making a feeder or waterer to show. You can always show off your photography skills and take pictures of your pig or paint a picture of them.
